Stray used to be a black cat, who was abandoned as a kitten due to superstitious beliefs. Stray has been surviving on her own for most of her life. She often lingered in alley ways, picking up scraps and rats near where humans live. Her main home was an abandoned factory, Eventually, she succumbed to an illness. The only thing she remembered prior to being an esk was a light in the darkness, like seeing her life flash before her eyes, which turned out to be the glow of Joule's light. As an esk, she prefers roaming on her own. She may be comfortable at being an esk, but she certainly doesn't instil that idea to others. She's rather nasty and bitter. But...Stray realises that she is never happy. Every time she turns away company from her creator, she feels guilty. The loneliness she has lived in both lives are starting to get to her. She goes to seek advice from Oracle (5390), who is a wise esk that doesn't need to seek company from others in order to feel happy. Stray concludes that she needs some sort of connection to feel complete, despite being introverted. One step at a time she might come out of her shell. But right now she can only tolerate her strange creator, Joule, and the other cats, Sarita and Circinus.
