before her death, adonia lived a very normal life. she was starting nursing school, she had plenty of friends, and a loving girlfriend. she was twenty years of age when she was killed in a head-on collision, that resulted in the loss of her right arm and ultimately her life. throughout her years she was happy, but held a dark secret..that she didn't even know about. her (now ex) girlfriend was a culinary student, who's specialty was...of course, human flesh. unbeknownst to adonia, who absolutely loved her cooking. it was almost addicting, and her unknown love of flesh resulted in an unexplained change in her biology after her death.

one night...days after her funeral, she woke up.

adonia was discovered by another ghoul, who broke her grave open, planning to feast on her newly deceased body...who, unfortunately for them, had to find another meal. it was then that she realized what she had turned into, vaguely remembering the gruesome events of what should have been adonia's death. she has yet to come to terms with what happened to her, isn't used to her new life, and the reasons of her transformation are still a mystery to the poor girl. adonia hates the thought of having to consume a corpse, and it makes her sick to her stomach. she typically spends her time sleeping throughout the day, and comes out at night to wander the city after dark, and think to herself. she has no friends and no life.

▸during her transformation into a ghoul, her former injuries healed too quickly, causing the tissue around them to fade to black. the other ghouls think she looks cool, but adonia thinks it's ugly.
