A hunter who dreamt of being a hobbyist musician, Ryki did not aspire to reach the high point she's currently found herself at. She was suddenly thrust into the role of a hero and is struggling to adjust, pretending to be cool and collected while not actually believing she's capable of what everyone thinks her to be. She goes along with things out of a sense of obligation but wonders why someone more capable like the many others she sees around her isn't in her place instead.

She tries to be kind but comes off as rather blunt most of the time. If someone is doing something she thinks is stupid, she will say so with no hesitation and with no sugercoating her words. This comes from a place of genuine care rather than malice as some tend to assume but Ryki finds herself hurting other's feelings constantly. She's trying to learn to be more tactful and softer with people's feelings. She's intensely shy and hides this by being aggressively outgoing, feeling constantly out of her element and comfort zone which is a factor into why she can be rather snippy with people.

Appearances are something she cares a lot about. She enjoys feeling cute and pretty, and it makes her happy to be complimented as such. Given how many battles she faces Ryki has had to learn how to make and mend her own clothing, especially since she has a tendancy to wear things for looks rather than practicality.

If she had a choice she would spend the rest of her days in her home of New Gridania and live a quiet life playing music. She hopes that someday she can do exactly this.
