Abusive father to Meteor and Comet, neglects Meteor and uses Comet's powers to his own atvantage. Was genuinely in love with his wife Rosegold at some point, but after looking more and more into animus magic and phrophecies, he was more focused on power than love. When the twins first hatched, Rosegold and him would often fight about how he treated the kids, and eventually he killed Rosegold, reasoning that she got in the way of his plans. Both twins don't remember their mother very well.
