Aine is a forest spirit and started talking to Ayel because she has been lonely for so many years. Aine and Ayel met Marshal after he misread a sign and went down the wrong path, towards the shrine. The first time she saw Marshal she thought he was a cool dude but as he started to get closer to Ayel she started to hate him. She felt like Marshal was taking away her only friend. After many arguments between the two they both started to warm up to each other (though occasionally Ayel had to be the mom and break up the fights)
