ziracuny: in life, ballyhoo was a wonderful friend. it was a strong protector, a loyal companion and a very smart and fun guy. it loved to tell jokes about the weather and bask in the sun's rays until it was nice and warm. it was always happy. When it snowed, it was joyous, hunting down old dead trees to eat and then come home and rest on the nightstand where it would fight the biggest of spites. One time it even took down a Deelagun with how strong it was. it was as big as a dinner plate and as strong as a rock. it will be missed so very dearly............
iniko: ballyhoo was murdered. slowly. it screamed inside. but never stopped fighting until it drew its last breath. it will live on in my heart and i will keep its spirit alive. for ballyhoo, all is possible. may it rest in peace until then.

ballyhoo the young was born on its warmth-soaked dead log along with its brethren the way any other booshroom does - and was promptly exposed to the harshness of the frozen season of winter. it survived amply on its log however, being born on one that was pre-destined to end up in the throes of the bustling wynsiph markets. as a belated keep'pyre gift, ballyhoo was passed into the palms of little iniko, where it would live out its days in sugary, warm bliss.
the death of ballyhoo is a tragic tale. it was swift and painless: ziracuny, who had been passing by the window upon whence the log sat, had seen his opportunity to strike and had made off with the poor fungi by the time iniko had returned to see the tragic crime scene unfold before his very eyes. ballyhoo's death was the unwilling catalyst for several (cult related) plots down the line of history, of which the likes of ennth will never forget.
