Penumbra Sulle

Penumbra Sulle is somewhat snarky, sarcastic and extremely aloof to those around her. She doesn't (for the most part) mean to come off as so cold, she has greatly lost her trust in people. She could almost be described as a self sufficient street dog who takes a very long time to trust others. Penumbra isn't all she makes herself out to be. Penumbra is primarily a skeptic, slow to anger, rather gentle and extremely loving to those she cares about. Pen has been described as an old soul which she takes to heart gladly.

Pen takes every day with a grain of salt and doesn't expect much of others, instead she takes everything on herself and does it with such great efficiency and quality that she deems others as useless, which couldn’t be farther from the truth.  Penumbra could learn to slow down and give others a chance, taking on their opinions and help, yet she tries her hardest to not let this happen, making her rather stubborn. Especially when there is work to be done, she will work herself to the bone. 

Most who don't know the witch personally see her as scary or as a threat which make many keep away from her. Penumbra is often at home with a tome, a spell or two and a roaring fire under the cauldron. The time people frequent her hutch on the hill away from the village is for her precision in magic spells and brews. Penumbra takes her business and life very seriously, so much so that she finds very little enjoyment in her life anymore.  Although her husband, Dellmuth Shadowcress, tries his best to reach out and push her out of her comfort zone, she only gives in to his wishes on occasion.

Dellmuth and Penumbra met at the esteemed school of magikca. Dellmuth by nature is quiet and reserved much like she is. There was very little words between them as they would often find each other in the same quiet places of the library to study. These frequent meetings led to small conversations and later over 10 years later, they married.
