Fawn Light

There once was a Kalosian girl named Fawn. Born with a skin condition, the girl was ruthlessly mocked and teased growing up. However, she became a gentle, kind hearted and caring individual. Her partner Pokemon, a feisty Fennekin she nicknamed Light, was quite different than its trainer. It was a fickle, prickly creature that was extremely loyal to and protective of its trainer, oft to the point it would ignore orders and do its own thing if it thought it necessary to keep its beloved trainer safe. The Pokemon and its trainer, though not skilled at battle, were the greatest of friends. 

As the years went on, Fawn and Light grew up together and were virtually inseperable. Fawn, now a young adult, had become a junior fashion designer while Light had evolved into a Braixen. While Fawn worked her job, she kept Light secure in her Pokeball until it was home time. Life was good and content for the both of them, who were happy to live out the rest of their days this way. However, fate had other ideas in store when a devastating storm ripped through their city one day, bringing a landslide that severely damaged Fawn's work.
Gravely injured and unable to escape, she gave Light's pokeball to a coworker and asked them to get help, knowing she likely wouldn't make it out alive. Light, however, broke out of her ball and ran to her trainer's side as the building collapsed, killing them both. Their dying wishes to protect the other. 

In a rare instance of admiration between the bond and sacrifice those two shared, Xerneas and Yvetal made an agreement to reverse their death and give them both another chance at life. However, they would live it in another world, and as one soul.

A young Fennekin with a strange muted coat awakens in the world of Pokemon. Her memories horribly scrambled, she can only clearly remember that she was once a human. A voice informs the Fennekin that her name is Fawn Light, and she has been brought here to heal the world. With no other instructions given, Fawn Light stumbles into a dungeon and is outmatched by the strong Pokemon there, who poison and chase the Fennekin out of their realm until she stumbles upon a town. 

Rescued by the town's Druid, Slowking, Fawn Light recovers and explains her situation. Having nowhere else to go, Slowking offers to take her in as an apprentice. Shown the ways of herbs and healing, Fawn Light grows into a fine Braixen and a strange beauty for her species, but an even finer Druid. She's just about ready to take up the full mantle of responsibility as Slowking wishes to retire, but the lingering curiosity of her supposed destiny to "heal the world" and her strange past memories haunt her still. Before she can commit to her role, Fawn Light wants to find out what happened to her.

Fawn Light has a gentle nature on the surface. Sure that she would like to be something of a druid when she grows older, Fawn Light is often solving other Pokemon's problems and settling conflicts for them. Deep down however, she is still a Fire Type. The flame of passion they each carry is hard to put out, and coupled with her past life as a human that she clings to (one of Scottish descent) Fawn Light can grow impatient and stubborn. While Pokemon can know her to be a kind problem solver, they will also quickly learn that a difficult or violent customer can earn themselves a Flamethrower to the face. And while Fawn Light is glad to be getting an iota of respect thanks to her newfound beauty, she does not enjoy being compared to others and receiving excessive comments about her appearance.
