Clever + Hardworking + Charming + Confident
A headstrong woman living first and foremost for herself, Ava is a fun-loving person with a diligent demenor belied by her general carefree cadence. She willingly devotes a good degree of time and effort into mastering things that she enjoys, with a near insatiable curiosity for a variety of topics; she very much enjoys hearing other people discuss things they're passionate about. Ava doesn't particularly enjoy being thrust into leadership roles, but she'll rise to the occassion whenever it's demanded of her, with a degree of confidence in her own decision-making and thought process that she's careful not to allow to slip into arrogance (...most of the time).

Though not lacking confidence in her actions, Ava is still incredibly analytical, preferring to take the time to think over actions rather than reacting immediately. Though she can still be pushed to quick reactions, they're something she still goes to great lengths to avoid, tending to repress most of her emotional reactions in the moment. As a result, when she offers you a choice, there's a good chance she's decided she's pretty pleased with the outcome no matter where the scenario leads.
Cruel - Insincere - Fickle - Heartless - Insensitive
With low baseline empathy and an inability to understand the pain of others, Ava's demeanor easily slips into a casual cruelty (intentionally or otherwise)— she can become rather callous, particularly when annoyed or under pressure, and tends to drop people as quickly as she picks them up, becoming bored with or tired of others if they fail to measure up to whatever expectations she'd set in her mind. Though aware of these flaws, she still doesn't do much to change them— in her mind, she's set herself as a red flag, and at some point it's your responsibility to not get burned.

Early Life
Born in Laverton, Australia to parents Deirdre Kelly and Emir Yavuz, Ava had a relatively normal early childhood; her father worked as a pilot, and her mother (a former flight attendant) worked in airport administration. Though she had quite a few odd quirks as a child, including never seeming to cry, it was only until she was 3 when she was finally accurately diagnosed with congenital insensitivity to pain after breaking her arm and showing little reaction. Her family quickly moved out to Perth both to be closer to the better-equipped city hospitals, along with bringing them closer to Emir's brother, Kerem, who then played a large role in raising her.
