Ruth

Ruth is an alchemist who has made her home in the hollow in a giant tree. She is very friendly and enjoys being helpful. She spends most of her time making medicines and potions while hanging out with her cat, Basil, and her best friend Catriona.
Her hat is magic - it holds her hair up out of the way. Otherwise she has long curly hair that's always in the way. (So her hair looks longer when she's not wearing her hat)
