Riley is a peculiar kind of guy. Having discovered the ability to clone himself at the young age of 7, he's spent the entire rest of his life mastering that ability alongside everything else. Parents would often report strange events that Riley would always blame on his older siblings. As he grew older, he gradually matured out of the troublemaker mindset, already being a well-adjusted individual at the age of 14. At that point, he dedicated himself to becoming a hero of sorts. And he did become just that, though most of his ability was simply used for frivolous antics along the lines of something a teenage cartoon superhero would abuse his powers for. Dating while studying? Check. Getting the book back to the library while walking to class? Check.
Currently, he's 19 and attending college in Kentucky.
Cloning ability
At any moment, Riley has the ability to clone himself, making a copy of him that's distinguished by the color of a part of his clothing. Upon appearance, the clone simply seems to walk right out of him and into reality. Of course, the real Riley is still there. He has a constant mental link with his clone until death - pain is numbed for his original self, but the clone itself experiences the feeling fully. However, his main self has a semblance of control over the clones. The clones, however, are different splinters of Riley's emotions, with exaggerated abilities based on such. Their personalities depend on the color they're spawned with - usually, the color of the clone is based on Riley's feelings as he summons one.
Red - Anger - The strongest, but with terrible impulse control. Could probably break a wall, if it didn't break his hand.
Orange - Determination - The stock hero. He is the one that usually shows up when Riley feels like someone needs help. Well-rounded.
Yellow - Happiness - A ludicrous amount of stamina and agility. His best skill is tripping people up to allow for a finishing move.
Green - Compassion - Essentially a support character. Not great at combat, but fantastic at consoling and controlling the other colors.
Cyan - Sadness/Wrath - Rarely shows up, if ever. Unforgiving and sadistic. Riley finds it particularly difficult to contain this one.
Blue - Calmness/Melancholy - The rational kind. Below average abilities, but excels in intelligence.
Purple - Anxiety/Fear - The most unpredictable, and possibly the most dangerous. Purple can display the most aggression when needed.
The more clones are active, the more mental exhaustion Riley experiences. One clone can stay active for 4 hours, and every clone active cuts that time by 30 minutes. Based on such, he could keep 3 clones active for 3 hours altogether, or 7 for 30 minutes. Additionally, he can feel all that his clones do. Perhaps with less intensity, but the more clones are present, the more the sensations add up, even potentially completely overloading when three or four of his copies are affected.
Personality
Joyful and optimistic, but not naive. Riley is a playful teen at heart. He'll flirt back if flirted with, and tease if teased. He doesn't mind a little risk taking, and he's definitely a goody-two-shoes, but he cracks easily under peer pressure. The only thing you could never possibly convince him to do would be revealing his hidden ability. He's heroic and brave, and maybe even too brave at times, acting as the hero archetype, often foolishly sacrificing himself for the wellbeing of others. He is great at defending others physically, but not quite emotionally. His green part is much better than he is at consoling people, and he's been tempted more than once to summon Green to do just that for him.
