Feng Zhongye | 封忠夜

Yu is a creature of unknown species or origin, though most consider him to be some sort of demon. Despite his large, soft ears, and his curved horns, Yu's body appears fairly mortal. He can bruise, bleed, break bones, and become exhausted and be in pain. The way he differs from humans is that he does not require food or drink to sustain himself; he survives purely on handwritten letters to himself, usually written by people that are in love with him, and who have an extreme connection to him.

His initial way of doing things was starting a pen-pal system, but it's gone so far beyond that at this point. Yu has become somewhat of a legend in the area he lives in, and has numerous people who consider themselves his fans. They all write to him, unknowingly being what keeps him going, and he always sends them a letter back, sealing it with his own blood, to further influence their connection and keep them devoted.
