Aeldredus is a ruthless destroyer who wants to see the Sky Island come to ruin for unknown motives. It is cruel and decisive, and will take advantage of any weakness to leave a path of chaos in its wake-whether it is at it's own hands or that of its loyal servants. It is extremely crafty, and sends its wards to weaken the protectors of the Sky island to free it openings to unleash its power upon it.

It is determined, and unyielding. Though it will go into slumber for years of time, it has been a constant and present threat throughout the history of the island's creation, and the Council and Myriad have battled it since the start. 

It doesn't seem interested in talking, and acts first asks questions later in any situation, though it is certainly capable of it- and capable of reason, its own motives simply take precedence to any logic or pleas for safety of any one individual. It is secretive as to its true goal and has no desire to negotiate.

He keeps his own opinions and personality away from his motives, so very little is known about him beyond the mask of pain he brings to others.  

Aeldredus is an angry creature that seems determined to destroy the sky island for unknown reasons. It causes pain and chaos wherever it goes, tearing apart any sections of the island it can catch unawares. It's an ancient foe that's always held this determination. While the council can hold it at bay, it occasionally slips through in moments of weakness and reminds everyone why it is a foe to be deeply feared.

It's origin and motives are unknown, and all attempts to reason with it have been failure. It has been a source of great controversy among denizens of the sky island, where some propose sending it to the True realm to be addressed, and save themselves even if it costs the other realm dearly, others oppose this as they believe they can keep Aeldredus under control.

It is very ancient, very powerful, and is always followed by an aura of pain and destruction.
