-Donni; Donni has been Dawson's best friend since they were little. The two are constantly getting into things (that are usually Donni's idea), and usually lead with Dawson looking like a bit of a dork in comparison to his suave and cool older cousin. Even as adults, they can be pretty inseparable, with Dawson frequently trying (and failing) to imitate his cool attitude.
-Ryland; Dawson has claimed Ryland as one of his closest friends, much to Ryland's dismay. Dawson seems entirely unaffected by the "I don't care" attitude towards him and everything. He will go to see his little friend far more than is honestly welcome (even bringing his cousin Donni to help keep Ryland company), because he doesn't want Ryland to get lonely, since he doesn't have many, if any, friends. It also probably does not help that he has the most precious crush on Ryland; seeing that underneath the rough exterior is a good person, and falling for that person almost instantly.
