[AoSaai] Xavier Garcia

Xavier was born in northwestern Maine to a mother and father who both worked in the water quality/testing field. From a young age Xavi was exposed to a lot of scientific shows, projects, and the like; these definitely helped to influence him as he grew up. In undergraduate college he majored in Chemistry and eventually narrowed his studies down to organic chemistry in particular. He also took part in independent research together with one of his professors; their project was centered around organic synthesis. He's the sort of person who can bullshit his way through most classes while he devotes his true attention to the work he genuinely cares about.

Xavi graduated cum laude and went on to graduate school, where he now focuses solely on organic chemistry research. One professor in particular grew quite fond of him and invited him to be a teaching assistant for her undergrad classes, which he happily agreed to. On the side he works as a store clerk to bring in some cash between his classes and TA work.

Outside of his science work Xavi is a big fan of video games! He loves to do video streams of his favorites and post them up online for his friends and others to check out. He also has a big soft spot for playing godawful games for kicks. On a few occasions he's done full playthroughs of games, especially obscure ones that nobody's heard of. His favorite video game genres are platformers, action/adventure, and visual novels. There are a few RPGs he likes, but most of them bore the hell out of him.

Personality wise Xavi is stubborn, verbose, and has an odd sense of humor about him. He has a strong, firm way of speaking that unintentionally puts some people off, but that's just how he is. He enjoys debates and in-depth conversations about anything from chemistry to old video games. If you want to pick up on some weird obscure knowledge or learn about something new, Xavi is your man.
