BACKSTORY
Rowan used to be a normal cowboy until a dangerous encounter with a wolf one night, When some of the town's cattle had broken loose, Rowan was called to shepherd them back into their fencing. In doing so, his horse was suddenly frightened by something and took off uncontrollably into the opposite direction. Rowan couldn't keep his grip on the reigns and fell as his horse galloped on in full stride. Covered in dirt and dust, he stood and realized: he wasn't getting that horse back. It was unlike him to get so bewildered out of nowhere- his horse was brave and tough as nails. So Rowan thought he had to have seen or sensed something really terrible. Holding his broken arm, Rowan scoped out the empty field around him. He heard nor saw anything out of the ordinary... so what could have startled his horse?
