Backstory
Haida Skyli was born from Tadano Skyli, a village peasant, and Eliska Skyli, a hybrid child noble. He is the first born and was born in a cottage deep in the woods and he's lived there ever since. His siblings, Kai and Kia were born 2 years after him, making them a five member family. They lived happily in their cottage with chickens and a garden to support themselves, sometimes getting RSVP invites to royal events due to Haida's mother's status, all-in-all a peaceful life. Haida was even gifted a small crown when he was 5 from the king of the land, making him feel like he was royalty.
That was all until Haida was 7 years old, assassins came to kill him, his siblings, and his mother, all to kill anyone with creature blood. The assassins killed their mother but didn't kill the twins, they ran away and were presumed to be dead after Haida's father got the assassins to make a deal to not kill Haida.
For 11 years, Haida and Tadano still live in the cottage, usually isolating themselves from people. Haida is usually alone due to his father going up into the mountains for a few days, sometimes for a few weeks. Haida is used to being alone but he always keeps the picture of his family close to him and the crown he was given to him on his head. He really appreciates these material things because its all he has left of his missing siblings and his mom. At times he doesn't even feel like he has a father, and wishes he'd stay home more, but he assumes he has his own things to deal with so he's stopped asking for him to stay around.
More Details
With Haida being 1/4 dragon, he is able to transform into a dragon and have the lifespan of one, which is for about 25,000 years. Although, because Haida is young, his dragon form is as small as a toddlers compared to dragons and he is as big as a 6 year old child standing on his back legs. He can breathe out snow/ice and fly with his wings. When he gets upset (mad, sad, frustrated) his scales show on his face and his eyes start to darken. If he is in a rage, Haida will even grow his wings and have his limbs transform. It usually takes him about 1 minute to transform into his dragon form and 10 minutes to change back into human.
