He's a very immature prince recently turned king; thrown into the limelight once his father, the king went missing along with his brother years after his mother has passed. He was quickly thrown into training to take over as he originally wasn't planning to. He knew he wasn't the right fit for the job, but as immature as he is, he understands his responsibility to give the people someone to look up to. Especially with the rumored treason of his father, the morale was at an all time low and the citizens were getting antsy.
 
Tommy started taking solace in the King, Sitka, from a nearby land who was in a similar situation, and only 5 years his elder. They have very differing views on how to go about things and sometimes butt heads but they try to keep the peace in a stressful situation. He's always the one travelling to the other kingdom asking for advice and just trying to have a friend to confide in that understands his situation the best. He's not really sure if this other King considers him a friend because his personality is sorta confusing, but he hasn't been chased away or threatened. 

He does have other friends that reside in his kingdom, but he's easy to find and often dragged away for training and etiquette classes. Which is why he sneaks around so much, he doesn't get much time to enjoy being young still. He's kinda understanding why the others disappeared...
