The place is huge, the map doesn't quite capture that.
There's a lot of land in between with towns and there's more larger owned areas/manors.

To the north-west is a badlands and desert, neighboured by a mountain range, leading into a cape covered in steppe. Above that is an island of ice, controlled purely by the [insert capital name soldiers]. To the south is a mountain range covered in taiga and spruce, where there is an abundance of podzol and deep forests easy to find yourself lost in. Below that are the [insert plains names, probably something like Great blank Plains] plains, covered in temperate forests of oak and aspen, and rolling hills so tall they could be mistaken for miniature mountains. Along the east coast stretched miles of sun-warmed sand, and softly crashing waves. To the west, a jungle of mud and wetland and fen, in the middle a huge bunyan tree, reaching to the heavens. Below that, an expanse of pearly mountains, and kingdom of stone.
Separated by a crown is a canopy of cocoa and vine, blanketed in sandy, palm-filled beaches.
In the centre, lay a great city of capital power, with its gold and marble towers piercing the sky, and shimmering rivers winding the streets; the display of magnificence broken only by the lawless islands surrounding, teaming with untamed streets and seas.
