Yukirou is a strong-willed individual; because of this, he’s highly independent and stubborn. He often handles his problems on his own and keeps things to himself. Getting him to open up about himself can be difficult if unnecessary. Yukirou is also very clever, a trait he typically uses to be elusive. He makes for an exceptional companion for conversation because he is curious and enjoys learning. His quiet nature also makes him a calm presence to rely on. Yukirou is loyal and reliable. He often acts as a point of stability for the people he befriends.

However, Yukirou is also impulsive and has a record of making split-second decisions without considering the consequences. He is reckless and acts without consideration for his well-being. His empathy most often influences Yukirou’s impulsive choices. His guilty conscience for a past he can’t remember, and his sympathy for others drives him forward. He can come off as harsh and even cold towards others, but there is warmth behind his words and actions. Yukirou is not known to hold grudges, but it manifests in harsh words when upset. He is most honest when he is angry, and he will say things that cut to the bone. Yukirou also finds a cruel delight in tormenting demons he finds harming others. Almost like karma has come to bite them for his amusement.

Abilites

[Wolf’s facade] Yukirou has exceptional control over his shapeshifting; however, he was never human from the start, so he does not have a human form. Instead, he must copy others to appear human. It isn’t perfect since he can’t change the color of his hair or eyes. He currently and most commonly uses the appearance of his deceased friend.

[Assmimilated souls] Yukirou can absorb the skills and knowledge of those he eats, making them his own. Even though he no longer eats humans, his life during the Edo period allowed him to gorge himself. As a result, humans he ate in the past have become a part of his body, mind, and soul.

[Scavenger] Since his awakening as a sentient being, Yukirou’s body had changed in more ways than when he first became a demon. He no longer needs to eat human or animal flesh to survive. Nor does he need blood; instead, he eats bones. Any kind will do; however, larger bones have a more significant effect.

[Storm breather] A style Yukirou taught himself based on the foundation he’d gained from eating demon slayers in the past. The technique has few precise forms but focuses on the swift delivery of crushing blows; while remaining fluid in action.
