Originally born in Kiseki, Naida came to Yoru in order to help her tribe make connections and meet some of the locals. However, Yoru residents didn't take kindly to the Shadow's presence and avoided her, meaning that even with her best efforts Nai couldn't seem to make any sort of connections with them. The day before she was due to head home, she was captured by Twilight Tribe soldiers and taken before Wrath. He accused her of being a spy from one of the other Yoru tribes and, when she denied this, brutally tortured her for information.
Lust knew what was going on and took pity on Nai, helping her to escape. She took Nai ouside of the tribe, leaving her in the care of two missionaries from the Umbra Tribe. The missionaries brought Nai back to Umbra, where she was treated for her injuries. Wrath's torture had left Nai in a very bad state; her wings were torn, her eyes permanently blinded and iron cuffs fused to the skin of her legs. Despite this, she recovered well and decided to move to Yoru's forest to live out her life.
Nai is peaceful by nature, and dislikes violence of any kind. She always has a contagiously calm aura to her, and her manner of speaking makes others feel welcomed in her presence. While she is friendly to most people, she can also be incredibly blunt and often gets frustrated when people don't understand what she means. Her disabilities don't interfere much with her daily life, however she tends to become disoriented in unfamiliar places.
