Rouge My first ever oc Value: $500 (Will never be sold but this is how much she is worth so far)

Backstory: TW: Mention of mental illness, Abuse, Eating Disorders, Suicide, Self Harm, and Sexual assault.

Rouge ( pronounced Rogue |Row - Gah|. )

Rouge was born in a Japanese household, she lived in japan with her mother till she was 10 years old then moved to America.

At a young age, Rouge was shown how cruel the world could be, her father had left before she was even born and her mother was a cruel woman.
Rouge had to endure years of abuse from her mother, having glass bottles and other house old objects being thrown at her for even the smallest of mistakes.

Often Rouge had been beaten when her mother had anger outbursts, taking out her rage on the innocent girl, this would happen multiple times a week, eventually, Rouge was taken out of school because
she was covered head to toe in bruises and cuts, and her mother not wanting Teachers to report her. This meant that the only way Rouge really got to learn was from television shows as a child, or from men who came to sleep with her mother.

Rouge's mother was a sex worker, a smoker, and just an all-around bitter woman. To her, Rouge had ruined her life and figure, although she was in perfect shape and extremely beautiful.
Rouge's Mother would constantly berate the girl about how much food she ate, despite her not feeding her very often.

Rouge would be given money to go fetch shopping, though the list of food and items she was given was often items her mum wanted for the men who came over.

On multiple occasions, men that came over would try to advance on the little girl, attempting to have their way with her, her mother pretending not to care then scream and hit Rouge when they left, saying it was her fault and that she was trying to take the attention off her mother.

Rouge's abuse would only worsen as time went by, her back riddled with scars from her mum slashing her with a broken wine bottle, those scars never faded.
By the time rouge was 12 she had finally had enough, she was so frail and weak, she was almost mute due to her mother crushing her windpipe by stomping on the young girl's throat, this caused her voice to be permanently affected, she now had a constant stutter and couldn't speak above a whisper without being in pain. She was hungry and dirty.

She couldn't take anymore.

So one night the 12-year-old girl slipped her mother, Poison hemlock, watching as it took effect on the woman, paralyzing her. Her mother was fully aware of her surroundings as the little girl scurried around the house, robbing her mother of all she was worth, taking what little money she had that day on hand, and also taking some jewelry that she could just shove in the pockets of her dirty and torn dress. Rouge watched as her mother died from the poison, her eye's holding no emotion besides a little curiosity. Was that Regret in her mother's eyes as she died?

Now being a homeless child. She remained homeless for at least a few months, attempting to get by off cheap food like fruit and water bottles. but eventually, the girl was reported to child protective services because when she ran out of money she would try to buy food using the expensive jewelry she stole from her mother. When she was taken by Child Protective Services, They had identified who she was and tried to take her home, thinking she was a runaway as most kids her age were in a rebellious stage.
When they found her mother however police instantly began an investigation, unaware that the little girl was the culprit, after all, she seemed too shy and innocent, hell she could only speak Japanese.

The investigation went on throughout the next few years, Rouge having been in foster care until she was almost 14.

The foster system had discovered she had a brother who lived on the other side of the city, he had his own place and was 23 years old
which was only 9 years older and definitely old enough to look after a child.

Despite having never met her before, her older half-brother she would later find out was named Forgotten Avery Smith (although he would later change his Lastname to match his sisters).

Forg took Rouge into his home. an apartment he was staying in.

Forg did his best to look after her, making sure to give her space when she needed it, helping her through meltdowns, and even teaching her how to clean and dress herself. He was helping her become a normal functioning teenager.

He even began to learn Japanese so he could communicate with her better.
Rouge spent her 14th birthday with her newfound brother, it was the first time anyone had ever celebrated her birthday, he made her a homemade cake and although it was tipping over from how poorly assembled it was, rouge absolutely loved it.

Eventually, the foster care system did try to take Rouge back, saying the apartment was unfit and that she needed to go to school and that Forg Himself was unfit. So of course Forg fought to keep his sister, he got a new house and got his license, he even got multiple jobs to be able to afford to raise her, and he spent a fortune putting her in the Best school he could find in their city.

Things were looking up for them, he managed to get her back after 3 months.

Now Rouge is 19, she finished school and was at the top of her class, she found comfort in studying and discovered her hidden talent for art. Her brother Forg paid for her to enter the best college he could get her into too, not that it was an issue, she had managed to get multiple scholarships.

Of course, it hadn't been easy for Rouge, she had been fighting chronic depression, and severe anxiety, she had developed anorexia due to her body being unable to eat a lot, which then turned into her worrying about her weight due to some bullying at school and all the abuse from her mother.

Rouge Had Attempted suicide at least 6 times over the years, having been put on suicide watch multiple times by her brother. She also had began to self harm, finding a sick sort of comfort in the action, which quickly turned into a compulsive habit. The Rest of her story is still to be decided.
