About
Akira is a dark gray tabby tom: a fallen spirit who lost himself to bitterness and a need for justice and vengeance.

Personality
Akira is sharp-tongued and bitter. He is a violent spirit and is known to play dirty during fights. He masks his depression and loneliness with rage, and he is adamant that he does not truly need anyone else- whether that is true or not. Akira is sometimes brash and quick to anger, and his ill temper has only worsened the longer he has existed in exile. He had always been more of a follower than a leader, and he does not mind carrying out the duties of another spirit by the name of Archangel- even if he may act bratty or rude about it.

History
Formerly a warrior of the Clan of Howling Dogs, Akira died at a very young age. As a warrior, he was gentle and amiable, though sometimes negative and reserved. He had died on a patrol after being killed by a lone wolf, having fallen behind as the rest of his Clanmates retreated. In death, Akira first joined his ancestors in the stars and watched over his former Clan. However, over time he became bitter and angry that he died but his Clanmates survived the wolf attack. Abusing his spiritual powers, Akira tormented those who were on the patrol on that fateful day in their dreams, and soon he lost himself and was exiled to the Forest of Lost Souls. There, Akira only fell deeper, and he abandoned his warrior name and still wishes for justice for the way he died. [ Read more ]

Obsidiankit had been born to Soottalon and Hazewhisper, and he grew up often being teased by his peers because of his introverted personality. He often turned to his brother, Bristlekit, to keep him company, though as the two aged they slowly drifted apart. Obsidiankit had a few friends, however he was mostly on his own, and he grew to appreciate his own company as he became an apprentice, renamed Obsidianpaw and assigned to a warrior named Liontail. The teasing stopped as Obsidianpaw grew older, though there were no apologies ever given. Without many friends or Bristlepaw, Obsidianpaw mostly went through each day on his own, working towards becoming a warrior. He was always friendly with those who spoke to him, and repsectful to his peers, but deep down Obsidianpaw was often moments away from becoming snappy or negative.

After becoming a warrior, Obsidiansky grew to have a few more Clanmates he could call friends, though he did not particularly become closer with any of them. As nice as he was, Obsidiansky could not bring it in himself to be more than a 'nice Clanmate' to others, as he never truly got over his troubles with making friends. He'd only been a warrior for about eight moons when, while out on a patrol, he encountered a lone aggressive wolf. The patrol retreated, though the wold gave chase when they were spotted. Obsidiansky had fallen behind and was caught by the wolf. He was killed then, and when he awoke he was next to his own body and being guided up to the stars by one of his ancestors. While existing as a spirit of the stars, Obsidiansky watched as his Clan mourned him and briskly moved on with their lives. Overtime, he grew to be spiteful of the way he'd been left behind to die, and eventually the bitterness consumed him. Obsidiansky began to appear in dreams of the other cats who'd been on the patrol with him, and he would torment them with guilt-trippy nightmares. Eventually, the tom was reprimanded by his older peers and banished to the Forest of Lost Souls.

After being banished, Obsidiansky only became angrier with passing time. His appearance changed the longer he existed in exile, his eyes darkening red and his stripes fading to black. Obsidiansky met fellow lost souls in the dark forest, and eventually he grew to respect a particular one by the name of Archangel. Through Archangel's influence and his own bitter rage, Obsidiansky abandoned his warrior identity and changed his name to Akira. In the present, Akira prowls the Forest of Lost Souls, still demanding for justice.
Relations
Clan of Howling Dogs
a reminder of his past and what he's lost
Akira loathes his former Clan and his own association with them. His bitterness mostly resides with the Clanmates who had abandoned him, however, thus most of his hatred is directed to specific members of the Clan. When it comes to his feelings towards the Clan of Howling Dogs, it is mostly internal. There are some cats that Akira does not hate, and there are some he does not care for. Even then, none of Akira's feelings towards his former Clan are positive.
Bristleshift . [ brother ] Akira does not feel anything for his brother anymore apart from bitterness at the loss of their relationship in this kithood. He envies Bristleshift's closeness to others, though he does not hate them.
Solarpelt . [ clanmate ] Akira's main source of hatred, Solarpelt was one of the cats on the patrol he had died on. He was also one of Akira's kithood bullies- adding another layer of unresolved anger to Akira's feelings towards Solarpelt.
Archangel . [ ally ] Archangel is another lost soul who keeps Akira company and encourages his violent behavior. Akira respects Archangel and sometimes even sees him as a friend (as unwilling as he is to admit it to anyone else). Archangel is a horrible influence, though Akira doesn't care to see that.

- Akira's Clan is located in Kenai, Alaska.
- The Forest of Lost Souls is his Clan's version of the Dark Forest.
- Akira can turn his sclera black willingly, and turn them back to normal.
