Being an elf, Cal will never physically age past 21, retaining her youthful looks as time marches on.

Elven Magick tends to solely deal in healing, and the Fawnus Herd is no different. All daughters of the Herd are taught various Healing Spells.

Being part animal herself, Calvanna is able to speak to animals, understanding them completely and even being able to carry on entire conversations. However, anyone watching this would merely hear Calvanna screeching and making animal noises.

Some Daughters of the Herd are taught how to forage beyond the berry fields for food. Part of their training is learning to control their breathing, pulse, and movement to be absolutely silent to the point that they can move through campsites in the forest without even alerting a guard dog.

When a Foraging Daughter of the Herd turns eighteen, she receives a Knife that is made from a stone the father chose on the day of his daughter's birth. The stone is sharpened and the handle is made from the first antlers the child grew and lost. This blade is christened by the elf's blood, tying her to it for the rest of her days. After receiving this blade, she is taught every conceivable way to use the blade, including combat.
