   History:
Clyde is ninety-seven years old that means he was born in the 1920's. His childhood was roughly between the 20s-30s. Reaching adulthood by the 40s. None of these times were ideal for being a homosexual.
 Especially not when aids became a huge concern in the community. Clyde realized he was gay at a very young age. Somewhere between 7-12. Around the time when you start to notice that you enjoy watching male actors
 in movies over their more feminine counterparts. But it wasn't considered normal. A matter of fact, it was considered a disease and a sin. So he hid it from his family. After some coaxing from cousins his own age. He figured
 maybe he'd attempt to date girls. Seeming alright with just lunches and outings. He mistaken friendship for love a couple of times. It didn't work out. Kissing was a struggle and sex became out of the question when he threw
 up on that one young ladies head when she tried to blow him. By the time he realized he really was gay and there was no changing that. His father wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea. He tried to force women on Clyde as 
therapy for a disease his father was convinced he had. And Clyde dealt with that until his dad was killed.

After that, it was him and his younger brother. And his brother was still in school. So he raised him. Meanwhile, a lot of gay bars were by word of mouth. SO when Clyde finally got around to being in and around them. 
He finally tested himself by sleeping with a man to see if it was right. I don't imagine he even knew that persons name -- When your young, the idea of lovers and being loved seems important. So he probably tried or had
 a few very short relationships. But once his aging stopped. And his friends started to grow old an die -- well loving ad being loved lost its appeal. Figuring relationships were better for those who could actually form families.
 But sex? Sex is still a basic human desire. One he satisfied with nameless johns whenever the occasion struck.

This seemingly endless cycle of self-destruction ended around when his brother died. As he was left with his nephew. He was only supposed to watch him for a little while. But ended up really taking care of him. He cleaned 
up for the most part at this point. But it only made him more isolated and bitter to the idea of being romantic or physical for pleasure. And when his nephew moved away and got married himself. He lived alone and dealt with
 his own desires when he felt like it.

Eventually, He came out as gay officially when he was 70. And his family took a dim view on it. He was to old to really care.

  Family/Clan:
 The “Clan” is pretty big and has expanded between Asian and parts of Europe. With a small settlement in northern America. So I wouldn't say the entire family dislikes him. Just those forced to associate. 
Clyde was born in Romania. But spent most of his childhood near the coast of France. Since in his actual youth? It was speculated to be the main stomping grounds for vampires. He later came to America with his 
younger brother and father. Having left France when his mother 'caved' to the vampirictraits and was forced to be put down.

A sizable amount of people in Clyde's particular branch of the family do not reproduce. Due to the fact that eating vampires extends the lives of these exorcist. And most don't want to pass down more hindering vampiric
 traits to their children. Clyde is by far the oldest in his branch. And one of the eldest to survive in his family. This is because he works with the assistance of specialized drugs. Keeping him from caving in.

  Lover?
 Being old and left alone is kind of the reason he keeps “Noa” ( monster lover ) around despite the rules. No one visits. Everyone avoids him if they can. And even if he doesn't say anything. He is lonely. 
And has been since they were forced to put his brother down. He lives in an old house in the woods. He keeps things the way he likes them (kind old fashion-y) and goes to work when he gets a phone call. And then he 
comes home to Noa. ITS SAD-- but Noa probably knows him better then most people hes related too. Because he only allows himself to be himself with Noa.

  Fear & weaknesses:
Clyde doesn't have a lot of fears other then the normal ones. He goes into a lot of situations knowing he could die. And his families 'way of life' is very strange. They are suppose to be brave. Give up their
 bodies to cleanse the world of parasites. Some of them choose to die to become demon tombs for those sealed inside of them. Even Clyde's particular line who hunts vampires are supposed to turn themselves in when
 they start craving blood. To be 'put down' before they become dangerous. So Clyde doesn't fear a lot. He's old and has had a long life. Spending most, if not the entire thing, working for the family. Maybe he keeps Noa
 around because its the one thing he does for himself. 

Clyde does have health problems though. His mostly human body is relying on the borrowed vampire powers to stay healthy and young. If he doesn't consume them in a while. His internals start to act up and would eventual
 fail him. Taking Noa's blood and making it into some kind of insulin to use when he's out. That will only last so long and he'll either have to eat a monster or come home and take a bite out of Noa.

 He suffers from MINOR photo-sensitivity. Which gets worst the older he gets. Sometimes it acts up and he can get really hurt. Which is why hes active mostly at night and wears glasses to read. 
His hair being gray is the only real physical sign of his age. There are pictures of him being young and blonde in his house somewhere.
