Kaizen independent and highly stubborn. With a short temper and restless personality, he comes off as grouchy and irritable. He prefers to work alone or only with those closest to him, such as his former mentor, Kenta. Kaizen is very snarky and sarcastic even at the worst of times which frustrates some of his peers, but those who know him understand he doesn't intend any malice. He was very unhappy to have been given a student in Akarui despite never requesting to be a teacher. He feels that a student would hold him back - though perhaps Queen Mizu intended to do so in hopes of calming Kaizen's reckless nature. As much as Kaizen complains, however, his frustrations with Akarui comes from a place of concern deep down, uncertain if he is capable of holding the responsibility of a young life. Deep down, Kaizen is rather kind and very protective of others. He is well known in the Spirit Keepers for his excellent fighting skills and heroic acts against the Dark Souls.
