Leonidas Al-Sayyid.
The so-called lost prince of an frigid kingdom known as Ampheia. Though he tells his stories with great gusto, there is no evidnece of a land called Ampheia ever having exsted. Still, he claims the gods have a great destiny in mind for him... they've simply yet to contact him with the details of this destiny.

HAIRSTYLE: Choppy bob cut, but will ocassionally wear a ponytail. Eye is never uncovered.
CLOTHING STYLE: Princely styles only. Clothes are several extravagant items layered on top of one another. Shoulder pauldron goes on last.
PIGMENTATION: White freckles covering both cheeks.
DESIGN NOTES:
- Red overskirt and transparent underskirt are separate articles of clothing.
- Has wider hips and thighs. Chest is flat.
- Eyebrows are thick(!)
Personality.
Leonidas is courageous, as any hero should be. He is always willing to take whatever risks are necessary to accomplish a task. Though he'd never say as much out loud, he does care greatly about what others think of him, which leads him to always carry an air of nobility and valor, even in more intimate settings.
Surprisingly, Leonidas very much loves to study. History is his favourite subject, and once he starts talking about it he can't seem to stop. Additionally, he's a big fan of researching mythology he is unfamiliar with, and will spend his free time reading.

History.
Idris Amir Leonidas Al-Sayyid, the lost prince of the legendary city of Ampheia. The city, he claims, was located within the snowy mountains of Southern Lapta, where the frigid weather and high peaks protected it from any outside invaders… but this location would also lead to its downfall, with an avalanche destroying all life it held… all life, except for that of his mother, a peasant woman who'd carried on a secret relationship with Ampheia's crown prince, and was pregnant by him. It was by pure luck that she was found by a group of Alyzeian nomads, who cared for her and restored her strength. And, later, she gave birth to who would be the only remaining member of Ampheia's royal family… Leonidas would have to find some way to reclaim his throne, and restore the glory of Ampheia
A very heartbreaking story… but there doesn't seem to be any evidence of a Laptan town by name of Ampheia, and a avalanche of such massive scale hasn't happened in nearly a hundred years, and Leonidas' ear shape is far more common in arid Illyria, which is a great distance from the Laptan mountain range. Nor does he carry the iconic accent of the Alyzeian people he would have been raised around! But it's all true, he swears!
Currently, Leonidas is within Illyria on a quest… or rather, he's waiting to recieve a quest. Surely the gods would make a point to contact him, a pure and noble hero, and instruct him on how to claim his destiny! And so, everyday he marches to the temples, asking the holy women there if there is any message or prophecy for him…
(The local priestesses seem to find him rather annoying… but, if nothing else, they all agree that Leonidas is painfully sincere.)
Trivia.
- Leonidas' sword is genuinely ancient… no one knows where he might've gotten it from.
- Surprisingly, Leonidas is a great chef and genuinely loves to cook.
- His biggest dream is simply to one day settle down and start a family with someone special.

Relationships.
ELMEDE - mistress
Elmede is a priestess of Nefas, the goddess that Leonidas is desperately trying to receive a prophecy from. This leads to Leon visiting her frequently, and eventually being witness to Elmede receiving a prophetic vision.
MIDAS - unknown
A famed historian! And yet, Leonidas seems to always grow nervous anytime she is near, and will go to any and all lengths to avoid her. Why is that…? What history could they possibly have with one another?
NEFAS - goddess
Leonidas is a devout worshipper of the goddess Nefas Hybria, and it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it is most often she who gives prophetic visions to those who later go on to become legendary heroes! Nothing at all!
FRANTISKA - friend
One of the archivist of the largest libraries in the world. While he lived in the area, he visited the library often and befriended them in the process, as they have a similar interest in little-known world history and mythology.
