Ash

Basic Information

Ash is a slender, short-furred, gray tom with purple eyes. His back has a dark patch flecked with dapples resembling scattered ash. These dapples also appear on his face.

He is a curious and understand cat. He has a strong belief that anyone is worthy of greatness. Sometimes he acts like a stern leader, but he's just trying to offer the best support possible, even if he fails at it sometimes

Backstory

Ash was born a loner. He has few memories of his mother, since she had disappeared when he was younger. He always thought that she had gone to live with twolegs. He was mostly left in the care of his father, Fog. Fog taught him ample hunting techniques. Fog always insisted on being solitary, and the place they had settled in was enough for them, but Ash never liked him for this. He wanted to do more.

One day, Ash noticed a colony patrol from the barn, and it peaked his interest instantly. He thought about following them, but Fog warned him that they were colony cats. and that they would hate him, Ash ignored this and went after them anyways. Unexpectedly, the patrol noticed him and agreed to take him to the leader, Rubble. With a piece offering, and a quick spar, Rubble agreed to let Ash join. Soon after, he meets Dove.

After Dove and Ash have Lavender, he is promoted to deputy quickly after. While out by himself, Fog encounters him. He says that he has heard of his new kin, and wanted to join. Ash agreed, mainly because it was his father, and he felt obligated to. Soon after, Fog would take Lavender out of camp while she was still a kit, which made Ash angry. He wanted to lash out at Fog badly, but the familial bond prevented him. That all changed when Dove died. He did not hesitate to furiously scream at Fog when he returned with Lavender. He threatens to exile him, even though he's only a deputy. The fight attracts the attention of the whole colony, and Fog decided to just leave the clan himself, if that's what Ash wants so bad. After he left, Ash attempted to comfort Lavender, but she pushed him away every time. Ash tried to get his close friend, Wheat, to watch over her in camp to see if she needed any help, but she would push him away too,

By the time Lavender was ready to be apprenticed, Ash had become leader due to Rubble stepping down from old age. He chose Wheat as his deputy.  He stayed leader until he lost his last 3 lives in one fight against Peach. He goes to The Colony of Stars.

Extra

He eventually gives a life to Lavender when she becomes leader.
