Lumu has some catlike tendencies.
Being that she's a chimera, she was created by a weeb of a scientist, and has unfortunately learned some anime terms and actions.
As well as catgirls and the like, she mimics normal cats too (as her scientist creator has a couple at home as well as via the internet).
She may or may not have been snuck out of the lab and may or may not have gotten lost along the way out and escaped to the land of Plotties and freedom. Who knows.
