Jay Azuli

Jay Azuli is a (genderfluid) waterbender from the Avatar universe. After the war was over, Jay was one of the first children born between nations and between benders that had been previously separated. Though their parents originally thought he was just a waterbender, his constant experimentation and desire to learn more helped him learn how to manipulate other elements. He first started by mixing water and dirt, trying to find at which concentration of water he could still control the dirt. Then, he realized that there is water in everything. He started to experiment more, and realized that the manipulation of hydrogen and oxygen were his true specialties, meaning that he could manipulate other things as well. However, his strongest element is pure water. 

He loves to garden, and you can often find him singing while getting his hands dirty. He also loves to read, and can speak several languages. He is obsessed with fish.

He has anxiety, depression, and PTSD due to genetic predisposition and events from his past, which his companion animal helps him with.

Her companion animal is a female sabertoothed moose lion named Karma. She is stubborn but sweet, and very protective. She does have a long scar over one eye from an attack she suffered as a cub (and she has antlers). I am still trying to decide on her design though so feel free to color + design her however you'd like.
