Nozomu

  Story --

Once upon a time, there was a goddess who loved this planet very much. She watched the world grow in the reflection of her magical pond. As collections of humans became villages. Working together to build a life with one another. And although they were not perfect. The kind goddess admired their determination, faith and hope. And her love for them only helped her own small world grown more beautiful. If only that could have lasted forever. But, as stated before, humans are not perfect. Those small villages didn't stay small for long. After a while, villages became towns. And towns became cities. The humans forgot about faith and hope. Exchanging them for power and laziness. The world around them suffered. And as it did, so did her love for them.

War upon war, the goddess watched the humans destroy themselves. Leaving hundreds of innocents orphaned. And many with out homes. The humans no longer looked after one another. Everyone seemed to busy with their own personal live to care about anyone or anything else. – discouraged the goddess's small world began to sink into darkness. The trees in her forest grew weak and discolored. The air became thick with cold. And eventually, even her magical lake nearly froze over. She was broken hearted. And it might have ended there. But with her last bit of hope she created Nozomu Fukusaburu.

And as he stood there with his new feet. And looked up at her with his new eyes. The boy opened his mouth and asked: “What is the meaning to life?” The goddess, who was becoming stiff from the cold smiled. She to wondered what was the point to all of this. Why live if it was all going to end this way? “Please find out for me.” She asked him, and he nodded. Promising to return.

   Mission --

Nozomu is a Kappa, who has been given a sacred mission to find the “Meaning to life”. He must do so by traveling around the world and into other dimensions. Asking the citizens, or those he crosses paths, what they believe the meaning to life is. Once he collects their answers. He can send the messages back to the goddess's realm through any source of water. Telling her the hopes and faith of their words. Hopefully he can find what shes looking for before the goddess of his homeland ceases to exist. -- He travels through water. Literally turning any form of water into a portal. His backpack is magical. And can fit literally anything and everything.
