Aedion is a very mysterious Vayron who seems to appear more often around winter time. They say he's a guardian spirit in the form of wisps, appearing amongst the trees at dusk. At times he can be very playful, especially towards young children, but sometimes his wisps lead people astray. Because of this, villagers have passed down stories; to tell their children to be good during winter, otherwise the "masked kitsune" will suddenly make them vanish.
Over millions of years, locals hike the mountain to pay respects at his shrine. Leaving hard boiled sweets, paper animals, incense, fruits and wooden carvings. They will offer prayers to ask him to continue watching over the mountain and their village. Others worship him for good fortune in the coming year.
In truth, the shrine is dedicated to a mountain deity, forgotten by the people. Aedion devotes himself to protect her shrine and the "garden" she created. He prefers staying in cold climates and never strays too far from home.
