Story

As a child Kaoru was captured and enslaved by a crime group, raised to be a trained killer. He was forced to wear reins on his face as a symbol of belonging to the group. Being raised the way he was, Kaoru developed some personality issues and often smiles way too much, even when he shouldn't. He wears a mask when 'hunting' to hide it.

Once Kaoru grew older he was allowed a small amount of free time during the day to wander around, but he had to always come back at night or he'd be punished. Despite being strong enough to handle himself and escape the group, growing up always being treated as a weakling and lesser than the other members Kaoru doesn't believe he can win against any of them.

One day wandering around the city, a manager for a host club noticed Kaoru and offered him a job. Kaoru accepted out of a whim, but fit in very well since it was a place he could talk freely and enjoy a slight time of peace. He quickly became the favorite and many people came just to hear him talk. Though despite his smooth words during work or when trying to reel in potential customers, Kaoru is surprisingly awkward. Without getting into the right mindset, he struggles maintaining his composure.

Due to his unstable personality, there are times Kaoru completely breaks down, but thankfully the manager of the host club is a very kind man who will do what he can to support Kaoru. The manager has a very keen eye and can pick up when Kaoru starts getting stressed and brings him to the back where he can calm down without anyone seeing.

Kaoru loves cats immensely and has a whole collection of cat goods he keeps in his work locker.

Design Points:

Bones are part of his body. His bone tail rests on top of his dragon tail, slightly floating above it. His reins are not optional and should always be drawn unless specified. He can also be drawn with human feet(only if specified) Pupils are star shaped. The feather tufts on his head are not ears! He has human ears.
