Kieran

despite being a vampire, kieran is seen most active during the day. he doesn't have any special resistence to sunlight, however, and must carry his umbrella (which doubles as his weapon) everywhere he goes.

he's a very extroverted individual, and throughout his lifespan, emotional connection was one of few things that he never got bored of. his tendency to wake during the day and sleep during the night, unlike the rest of his kind, was due to the fact that most of his friends aren't nocturnal. over time his sleep cycle gradually shifted to match those of his diurnal friends.

kieran was once an illegitimate son of a count, born from one of many mistresses. one fateful night, a horrifying massacre occurred, now long been forgotten by history. him and his half-brother, nero, were the only ones who made it out intact, save for their humanity.
