Name: Blade
Gender: Male
Nature: Gentle
Characteristic: Highly persistent
Typing: Bug/Steel

When Blade hatched from his egg, his form was a bit different from the rest of the clutch. Unlike the other oddity in the nest, his coloration was normal. Instead, the iconic horn and stinger that his kind had were... Sharper and made of metal instead. These adaptations betrayed that Blade was a Delta Species, a Bug/Steel Weedle instead of the classic Bug/Poison.

Growing up, Blade thought that he would have to be a fighter, turning his knives against other pokémon. He certainly did it numerous times in self-defense! But, whenever he actually hurt the other pokémon, he would feel guilty and run away rather than finish off the job. In reality, he preferred to just avoid conflict altogether. He just didn't know how to go about that on his own.

I am not sure how to finish writing out this part, but the story is going to go that:
A dam broke and began to flood the area.
An Explorer's guild ran a mission to rescue the pokémon in the path to reduce casualties
A flygon on this mission scoops Blade up with a couple of other pokémon to take them to safety.
After the danger subsides, and the safe space is full of pokémon of all kinds that are confused and displaced, he watches as the guild members still work on taking care of everyone as they wait for the land to recover from the disaster.

During this time, he was amazed by how things were handled and found himself drawn to the temporary kitchen that had been put together. Unsure of how to help, he just watched for a while until one of the cooks noticed him and his blades. Offering him a job of cutting up some of the herbs and berries that they needed, since they could always use another helping hand or few, Blade found himself assisting and learning how to cook from the guild.

Once things settled down and pokémon were able to head back into their valley home, he asked if he could return with the guild, instead. He didn't want to go on missions on his own or anything, but fixing food was fun, and it made great use of the blades that he was born with. Going on group missions to handle meals is fun, but so is staying at the main base and working throughout the entire day to make sure there are meals for any pokémon at any given time.

Blade is nervous about evolving because if he evolves, he doesn't know if he will remain adapted to the cooking lifestyle that he's fallen completely in love with.

• He will get a Kakuna and Beedrill form eventually
• I use most of my pokémon characters in stories and roleplays (Most of my pokémon are actually in the same world and the rps cross-interact between them at times. It's a lot of fun, honestly) - So Blade would 100% get added to these.
• Just because he isn't keen on solo missions, I feel like he'll get roped into a small team at some point and find himself out on missions with one or two partners. (Usually as the storage manager, handling recovery for the others, and navigation. Definitely doing his best to avoid conflict when he can)

This character is part of the Pokemon fandom.
