Captain James Rurka

James Rurka is known as one of the most notorious pirate captains across the Central Tides.  He is a ruthless and cunning man with a lust for treasure and lost artifacts.  His ship is The Sinner’s Severence, and his crew respect and fear him in equal measure.

Diagnosed with a terminal illness on his 40th birthday, James began searching all corners of Noruena before he heard of a mysterious ritual that could cure a man of any ailment — and a boy named Tavian who knew how to conduct it.
