He takes the place of Yumi's best friend. He tends to be weak in just about every regard, including dueling which is unfortunate for somebody surrounded by plenty of talented duelists. He tries to put on a tougher exterior for his own sake, but it's plainly seen through.

• He gets bullied very roughly at school and almost always skips as a result.
• At first, he uses a deck made up of mostly random cards and "Ruin, Queen of Oblivion." Later, he uses a full Ruin and Demise deck.
