Childhood

Ayumu's childhood had been quite normal... at least in his opinion. His mom was worked as a painter, so she was pretty much in her 'paiting room' most of the time. For a couple years- Ayumu barely saw his mother at all, but when he saw her, he would spend a lot of time with her. At least the most he could. Despite being quite absent, Ayumu loved her and looked up to her. She was a really great artist and was able to paint beautiful landscapes out of her pure imagination so- there was high demand for her paintings.

Time with Dad was fun too, so he loved him too. Even if they had a small garden, Dad was able to make Ayumu it was a whole different place. From dungeons filled with monsters to wonderful and futuristic cities were people flew around to get to places.

Teenhood

Ayumu got a small job while he was still studying. He decided that he wanted to start saving up to buy his own coloring materials- he wanted to be like mom and paint things. But Mom was very possessive about her things- she didn't even let his child touch them. He simply worked as a store assistant, helping indecisive customers, taking turns- at first it was hard, but it got easy soon enough. And as months and years of taking different jobs- Ayumu was able to buy almost everything he needed and wanted, so with the help of his mother, he started to practice painting and drawing.

At first he painted small pictures- the usual hill with tress, flowers and the sun shining. He did variations of this one and displayed them at the plaza as a suggestion from his mother (because she started that way). There were a few people that smiled at the paintings... and actually one of them wanted to buy one! He accepted and gladly sold one of his pieces- he felt so proud of himself! And when he ran come to show what he gained for them- both of his parents were so proud of him too! He had a talent for this- although it was always thanks to Mom... and Dad too, to help expand his imagination and creativity.

Adulthood

After years, his mother had fallen ill. He was really sick so doctors couldn't really heal her. Ayumu lost her just a few days before his birthday... so he decided to paint something big- something that could represent her and how much impact she did in his life. It took him months to finish this piece... but he did manage to capture her whole essence. At least that's what he wanted to think...

He gifted this piece to his father before moving out. He couldn't concentrate anymore in that house... and he couldn't draw for a long while. So to his surprise- his father gifted him a camera obscura. It captured things and pastered them on some kind of paper. Ayumu was honestly fascinated by this- but the fact that the pictures where in black and white were... a bit downer.

When he moved out and started to take pictures, a thought crossed his mind. What if... he painted the pictures? He had material- and money to buy more colors. He started to paint a few pictures he already had and the outcome was... outsdanding! And doing this... he, once again, followed his mothers suggestion. Ayumu displayed them at the plaza- and to his surprise, a lot of people were interested in them. It was the very first time they saw colored pictures! When he only wanted to show them to the public- he ended up selling them. And... pretty much he made that his job.
