Thea is the picture of elegance and composure, a true noblewoman in the bustling city of Zenith. However, don't be fooled - the Elianos family has a dark secret and as the eldest daughter and heir, she's inclined to continue the blood-soaked legacy.

To the public eye, Lysithea Elianos is the beautiful, cordial bachelorette of the Elianos family, a respectable household that makes their money on estates within the empire. By all means, she is an enviable figure, if a little private, but few judge the preferences of such esteemed nobility.

Behind closed doors, however, the Elianos family makes their way up the hierarchy through blood - assassination. Trained by her parents, Thea is as cold and ruthless as they come. She keeps herself closed off from outsiders, letting very very few people into her life. After all, those that do risk finding out her little secret - and that risk could very well make them a victim. For this reason, she is endlessly lonely and spends the majority of her off-time drinking, smoking and indulging in various other vices, anything to make her feel something after the irrevocably empty 300 years she has lived.

Background

Thea's parents - Kreiton and Saffron Elianos - were both High Elves of remarkable volatility. Kreiton was the eldest son and heir of the cut-throat Elianos family and Saffron was a dangerous mercenary of noble blood. They often described their meeting as 'love at first contract', as Kreiton had been assigned to kill her and was ultimately caught in the act. Somehow, this did not result in his death, but a subsequent marriage and the birth of three beautiful daughters.

All three daughters were trained in the art of killing. Thea had a talent for stealth and blades, Dionessa had a way with words and blackmail and the youngest, Arabell, was gifted in poisons. As the future of the family, most of Kreiton's free time was spent training Thea and drilling the family values into her skull. When she was old enough and her parents felt it was time to retire, she was handed the family business. Soon after, she banished the youngest sister due to her reckless nature, threatening to kill her should she return to Zenith. Dionessa left of her own volition, seeking her own love and destiny in the Empire's vast lands.

After many years of killing, drinking and loneliness, Thea was blackmailed by an unnamed party who knew her secret. She was forced to steal an artifact from Zenith's opening museum with a group of other individuals in a similar situation. They did so with practiced ease and instead of parting ways, have embarked on a few other escapades - namely to eradicate those responsible for their blackmail. Thea has grown...fond of them, much to her growing dread.

Notes

• After killing some of her lovers, Thea does not believe she is deserving of affection.
• Most of her relationships these days are no-strings-attached, limited to one or maybe two night stands. Even so, she does have a romantic side and occasionally fails to hide the longing gaze she gives couples.
• Sometimes, Thea dreams of breaking free from the shackles of her birthright and doing something else with herself.
• Thea is fiercely protective of those she holds dear
• While she is not picky with lovers, her most memorable tryst was with in her youth, with a sweet noblewoman tiefling. Unfortunately, Thea's father had killed her own, and her lover had caught a glimpse of long, flaxen hair. Thea couldn't risk any loose ends.

Relationships

Dionessa Borelia Elianos [ sister ]

Cordial, gentle and patient, Dionessa was the picturesque daughter of a nobleman. While her sisters were both natural killers, Dionessa favoured the kinder nature of their family. Even so, the middle daughter had a wicked way with gossip and forgery - an unnerving ability to unravel a man’s pride with a choice few words. Her talent was used sparingly, but with calculated coldness necessary to uphold her family’s position. Once Dionessa had scared any threatening individuals, Thea would often dispose of them to severe any loose ends. The two get along well, however, with Thea as the lead of the family, Dionessa drifted away to find her own calling. While her visits are few and far between, the two are still as close as two sisters could ever be.

Arabell Marion Lorelai Elianos [ sister ]

The youngest daughter of the Elianos sisters, Arabell grew up free of the burden of responsibility, instead donning a life spoilt rotten by riches, education and the finest poison known to man. Bell was the most petulant of the three and the most disliked by the family’s heir - Lysithea. Once her antics became too much, Thea cast her out at the first opportunity, weary of her endless demands. Since then, Thea has not heard word of her youngest sister and hopes it stays that way.

Adrian Velassio [ friend ]

As a morally dubious pirate with a romantic streak, Adrian Velassio is one of the few who understands dear Thea. For that reason, she has a deep respect and trust for him. He's one of the few she has entrusted with her secret and one of the few who acknowledges the implications should he break that trust.
