- Abandoned for all of his memory, Tamatoa resides in the ruins of what once was, and still is, a great castle by the sea, near constantly shrouded in darkness. The castle, while filled beyond imagining with riches, is completely vacant of all life; should Tamatoa have want to eat, he must travel down to the rough seas, or far into the twisted forests that border his lands; however, he can never stop himself from returning to his castle, no matter the hardships it places on him.
