Henry Clerval, 19, is currently residing at the University of Ingolstadt in Bavaria, Germany, with his childhood friend, Victor Frankenstein.

After spending many, many years pleading with his father to let him further his education, Henry finally was allowed to leave his home in Geneva Switzerland to begin to study neurology and philosophy. 

Optimistic and, honestly, rather annoyed by pessimism, Henry is incredibly supportive of his friend's pursuits and hopeful about his own. He provides guidance and help to his friend when he's ill, offers help with the other's work, etc. He's usually met with many thanks, but lots and lots of very vague responses. It's... discouraging, but he continues on. 

Like Victor, his work is incredibly important to him, but he can usually find time for other things. Mainly, he spends a lot of time at coffee houses with other students and does a lot of writing. On the side, he works as a bit of a journalist for the Bavaria area, usually writing journals on new discoveries or political events.
