Ivik (and Kishi)

His community isn't very pleased with his associations with outsiders (or the fact he just has a big scary shark following him around that he directly brought in to the community) but he's useful as a healer and with the community focus they're not very well going to cast him out directly. However they subtly instead are just too busy to join him looking for medicinal plants, it's just a coincidence hes been moved to the edge of town, sorry no time to chat thing to do you know.Hes fully aware of the fact theyre trying to edge him out but he acts ignorant to it. He doesn't believe people who raised him on the phrase never go it alone would be so standoffish to outsiders and so doesn't subscribe to such a way of living.
Basically he's stubbornly staying until someone tell him directly that he's no longer welcome. And he'll continue to help his own people and others until that happens.It does upset him at times knowing he's just straight up being used, but he's not going to turn down someone in need, and he's still got Kishi by his side at least.

He has considered leaving and trying to go it alone, but he feels guilty for just the thought. He considers leaving to be a selfish decision since he's needed where he is.
