former human who was turned half monster by horrific experiments. this has done little to dampen his friendly and positive demeanor, though he has a tendency to space out more often.
his limbs, ears, and tail are all hard and brittle like charcoal. they break of easily but rapidly regrow over the course of a few hours. this process is only mildly uncomfortable for forrest. still, he tries to avoid it, but since he's so clumsy it always ends up happening one way or another anyway.
