Malik

Malik grew up simple. Serve the continent. Serve the wax. Serve the beings above you who serve the continent and the wax. Given up as a newborn on the steps of his hometown's church, he was taken care of quite handsomely by that church. He did his best to obey the rules, but some of them just seemed too asinine or as though they got in the way. Raised by the community, his life growing up was not typical, but certainly not destitute. He even had the luxury of a childhood pet, a pup named Abul.

It was some time in his teen years that he began to grow restless. He didn't want to be like the priests that raised him. Though he respected them, they weren't what he felt distended to become. With quite a bit of convincing, he was finally able to leave with the help of his favourite priest, and most trusted adviser, Zarin. The clergy even allowed him to take Abul along with him.

From there, he was free to do as he pleased. He found he had a knack for, well, anything he really put his mind to. To ensure he and Abul could eat, there were few jobs he wouldn't accept as they traveled. This lead him into some trouble here and there, but it was great fun and kept their bellies full.

Malik is a half-elf who is lean but muscular, sporting blonde hair that is shaved on the sides, boasting intricately decorated braid down the center. His clothes loosely resemble the robes of the clergy that raised him.

Malik is a somewhat carefree character, guided by adventure and his giant, fluffy dog, Abul.
