- Chalkos has not minded the transition from death to life, seeing that he can still pursue his passions and creativity from beyond the pale.
- Chalkos frequently comes to gripes with the resident artist, bickering and arguing with them about their laziness and fixation on the resident lyricist. The back and forth between him and Minthe often escalates in a similar fashion to an arms race, with one party inciting greater acts of bother on the other til it rampages into wide spread havoc. Often, either another party steps in...or the two make peace after having a rest somewhere soft.
- Chalkos does not mind for what purpose his various traps, engineering, and inventions are used for so long as they are used. He sees things without purpose as pointless, something he fears himself becoming in time.
Son of the soldier Sídero and the healer Althea, Chalkos went through a life of relative peace. He grew, was educated, and became deeply involved in the science of engineering. Engineer, inventor, and all in all a hard working man, things were looking great for this man, life was good!
....Until the Fates saw fit to end the story of Chalkos in life, his life cut-short by a failure in engineering. However...this would not be the end of the man, as his skills and services saw use in the world beyond, within the very depths of the earth. Now he toils and ever works to ensure the defenses of Hades are kept in proper working order, be they in providing a bulwark against escaping prisoners...or used against the staff themselves.
