Irene's (eye-reen) name was given to her to symbolize peace. As a pup, she was often very kind and soft, sometimes being called naive or daft. Her parent pack had named her after the Greek goddess of peace, Eirene, in hopes to bring forth good fortune to their pack.

Irene left her parent pack in her youth due to moral differences, and opted to start her own pack. Her first companion and closest advisor, Caine, has offered great assistance in laying down the foundations of her new pack. Taking after her family's interest in Greek names, she decided that naming the pack "Eudaimonia" would be fitting, given that the name generally means "flourish" and "happiness".
