Noah

Luck really isn't on Noah's side. He goes outside by himself one time -- just to film something to post when GLISS have made their official debut -- and immediately gets murdered. And revived as... something. A vampire? And the guy who revived him is cute, and Noah really doesn't have time to deal with this. He has to stand on a tiny little music show stage in three days, but to do that, he has to let the cute vampire and his witchy sister educate him on the finer points of being undead and nonhuman. If he could ideally also find his killer (if the cute vampire actually isn't at fault, which he's still not sure of) he could actually at peace.

Turns out, though, dying is a mildly traumatic experience, as is grieving yourself. So even if he finds who did this to him, things just won't be the same. No matter how hard he pretends.

Childhood

Noah grew up in San Francisco with his comfortably middle-class family. They adopted his cousin when he was little, who quickly became his closest friend and the one who encouraged him to apply to a couple international auditions after catching him watching one too many Jacob Lei fancams. Noah only really agreed because he wasn't sure of what exactly he wanted to do with his life, and because he knew he wouldn't be accepted into any agencies anyway. Except he was, and really, why not? What else was he going to do with his time, right?

Predebut

For the first two years of his training period, Noah attended occasional training camps over the holidays and handed in his monthly evaluations online. Once he graduated high school, he immediately made arrangements to fly out to Korea and finally train in person: that had been the one stipulation in the way of his debut, to spend at least a couple months there and brush up on his Korean.

A couple months turned into a year, and a very promising group consisting of Noah and some of his trainee friends was broken apart when their agency suddenly closed its doors, likely to try and outrun the criminal charges levied against their CEO. With nowhere to go, little money, and the trainee dorms shut down as well, Noah wandered the streets of Seoul, dreading going home a failure. Until someone chatted him up in a convenience store, asked him why he looked so sad, and said that he and the pretty cashier over there were both part of a trainee group, and would he like to audition? He'd put in a good word for him and everything. Despite his reservations, Noah agreed, and became the fifth and last member of GLISS.
