Very old OC of mine.. will have to make a decent full-body reference one day.. i had some but they're ancient.
Gender: male.
Species: base species is a beast-man(a humanoid/animal hybrid creature). His animal features most resemble a blend of panther and lynx cats. (mutated to elemental)
Age: Approx age: 24.
Body: (approx. 5'2''? ). Broad shoulders, boxy body shape. Eye-color will shift to black when angered.
Body hair?: yes, grows dark body hair in pits, on legs, and has substantial "happy trail". his eye-brows also grow thick an unruly. (he grooms them, somewhat). He does not grow facial hair easily. He gave up on trying a long time ago, and now removes the few hairs that grow.
Face details: square shape face? cat-like?? dark circles under eyes. "downturned" eyes. (inner edge slighly higher than outer eye edge, causing sad-looking eyes. can also be shown with inner and outer eye edges lined up evenly. ) large nose, similar to roman but less triangular..flatter bridge? thick lips, mostly even on top and bottom.
dark/poison type abilities: can consume poisonous/toxic substances and convert the toxins to a usable custom poison stored within his tail. Released like quills of a porcupine. (This gives him an immunity to many common things like: alcohol, smoke, etc. Very disappointed to find he could never get drunk, high, or relieve a migrane. Any brain altering substances are converted.) Can enter dreams of others, with limitation. (only within a limited range, dreams can only be altered by use of thoughts already present in subject's mind. )
Talents:
-excellent reader. (he reads often and studies various things during his night watch. ) developed a substantial vocabulary, but rarely uses the full range.
-decent at math.
-heavily studied poisons and antidotes when he became an elemental, so he is quite informed on the subject. (he wanted to be able to make remedies for the poisons his body produces, in case of accidents. He can now.)
-Can speak several cat-beast languages, common speak, and small amount of japanese and latin and german. (mostly just basic conversational. he's still attempting to study these. He can't read kanji much at all, and is a bit rough on German pronunciation.)
-can sketch somewhat. (lines are rough, mostly sketches for notes.)
-pretty good home cook. (not chef level, but brag worthy.)
Personality: a "grumpy fluff". He's a moody little fluff. A shy boy who expresses his insecurities as annoyances. Sensitive to discomfort. Can't get piercings, hates cold, etc. Eye-color will shift to black when angered.
Sexuality: heterosexual.
Voice/accent/speech style/etc.: deep, somewhat gravely voice. sounds mildly annoyed or skeptical, always. Clear pronunciation, limited use of contractions, moderate use of slang. Not overly chatty, but often has sassy commentary.
Bio:
Mutated as a youth, at the start of puberty, which dramatically impacted his personality and behavior. Once a quiet, calm child. Now an easily frustrated, sarcastic fluff with little trust. Certain aspects of his mutation scared away people he thought he was close to, and have been a continuous blockade in finding a mate. He is angry at the world he was chosen to help protect.
He spends the night hours studying various things while keeping watch. He has a particular interest in languages, chemicals, and poison/venom. Most of his talents were developed through late night study and practice over several years.
