Once there was a baby abandoned in the woods, nestled away in a little weaved basket. Nobody knows who left him there. Nobody knows where he came from. But a mysterious young woman found him one day; and taking pity on the poor baby, she raised him as her own. She taught him how to fend and take care of himself in the wild, and with her magic, she blessed him with her magic when he became of age to live on his own.
That baby grew up to become a guardian of a church, just a little away from the woods he grew up within. But not too long after finally finding a home in society, did he lose it in one night to a band of bandits. Now he travels on his own, but never alone. The motherly goddess who blessed him before his travels, and raised him well for when the time came to live on his own, watches him from above.
