Character

Background

Kian is the Duke of the Baima family, son to the Water Dragon Advisors as part of the council of Luukraina. He is father to four children, and he takes pride in his family, and teaches his children to do so as they please and do it with the pride of being a Baima.

Years ago, Kian had an affair when traveling back to Luukraina. It came as a surprise when the woman presented him with a child that was clearly a Baima. He wanted to take in the child, but rejected her. The woman abandoned the child and disappeared, leaving Kian to look for his lost son for 18 years. When he finally found him, it sparked a catalyst for big changes to their society.

Kian governs land outside of Luukraina's mainland, and he does it justly. The area is generaly safe, and residents are happy to be there. He is destined to join the Luukraina's royal council when father passes, leaving the land to one of his children.

Personality

Kian seems very serious and foreboding at first, but he is actually quite caring. He has a soft spot for those weaker than him, children and creatures he finds cute. He likes being able to dote on things. He can be quite playful when given the chance. Despite his age, he is considered quite young as a dragon, and although he acts older to conform to societal standards outside of Luukraina, Kian also considers himself a young man.

Kian is like many dragons who've grown up in Luukraina. He is indifferent to lesser beings; he doesn't look down on them or scorn them. He is quite receptive to changing times, and is in favor of more equality among different humanoid species.

Abilities

Kian has the standard abiltiies of dragons: He can shift into his fully dragon form, between his dragon form and humanoid form, and to his humanoid form. Kian is old enough to also change how old his humanod appears. When Kian is among residents of Luukraina, espeically those older than him, he always transforms to his "real age."
